UNDERSTANDING INFERTILITY

What is Infertility?

Infertility is the inability to conceive after 12 months or more of regular, unprotected intercourse. It may result from factors affecting the woman, the man, both partners, or, in some cases, unexplained causes. Many causes of infertility can be treated, while some individuals or couples may require fertility treatments, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), to achieve pregnancy.
